("Mud and clouds") This title perfectly defines the characteristic sound of this duet. His music is raw and naked, as the double bass and voice form the ends of an imaginary harmony. This is a constant role-playing game: if one of them settles the rhythmic part of the music (like mud), the other will be able to float freely (like clouds) and vice versa.

The strong jazz roots that unite Magalí and Manel embrace, in this work, a repertoire of traditional Catalan and Ibero-American songs as well as two original songs, made from catalan poetry, which open and close the album. The proposal of this duet is to reformulate the melodies, forms and rhythmic claves of these songs through the freshness and risk of improvisation.
